About Poseidon Group International Inc

Poseidon Group International, Inc. was founded in Los Angeles in 1992 by the name of Poseidon Seafood Corporation. Our mission is to spread Japanese food throughout the United States.

The business first started with importing, exporting and wholesale distribution of fresh tuna, mainly between the United States and Japan. Since then, our business has not only expanded to a wide variety of seafood but also diversified into beef products which include high-quality angus beef and Wagyu beef raised in Japan, Australia, and the United States. Also, our territory for exporting the products of the United States has expanded to all over the world.

Since the beginning, we have focused on processing and delivering the highest quality foods, while aiming for a stable and long-lasting relationship with our customers.

With our motto, “Safety of Food, Joy of Eating”, and through our group network in the United States, Japan, Korea, China and Canada, the Poseidon Group continues to pioneer and develop commodity foods and products worldwide. We ensure the safety and quality of our products by having our group network manage all aspects of our flow, including purchasing, processing, distribution and sales.

Our processing plant is located in Japan and is certified by US HACCP as well as EU HACCP. There is also a processing facility in Los Angeles where fresh tuna and beef are cut to meet the needs of our customers in United States and is certified by the FDA and USDA. For storage, our facility is equipped with ultra-low temperature (-58°F/-50°C) storage in addition to the refrigerated and cold storage warehouses, to maintain the highest quality.

We are driven to deliver the most delicious and safe food products to our customers by maximizing our competitive advantage and having our own network manage all aspects of logistics.
